The Look-Behind

At the end of 2022 I travelled Eastwards to spend time with my fam, and the first half of 2023 I was still there on the East Coast so I couldn't do much of any streaming.
My desktop was back on the west coast, and I just had my laptop and limited connectivity.

From about May I was back home on the west coast, and after settling back in (and family left) I started a more regular stream schedule.

I didn't have any real major goals in 2023, but I wanted to adopt a more regular (though still limited) schedule, and to learn more about different streaming software/setups to make it viable for me.

I learned A LOT in 2023, and achieved a lot of things I hadn't originally set out to do either ahaha

1. I upgraded my rig that would make Streaming, and VR & 3D Modeling more enjoyable & technically realistic
2. I had a few different major commissions ordered, which allowed me to integrate them into my website with weather effects for https://serynn.ca
3. I hosted a (mostly) regular schedule of Snack Box streams! This was one major goal for the year
4. I figured out how to provide (usually solid) Beat Saber streams with my own custom avatar
5. Integration of Beat Saber Requests! A viewer told me about this during a stream, and helped add more interactivity to Beat Saber streams
6. Added AI-powered caption-text for my Mute streams
7. I started Collabs with Moss! I've never done collabs before, so this was a huge first and they've been so much fun
8. We got emotes commissioned for when we reached affiliate
9. In October we reached affiliate! I wasn't expecting to hit affiliate this year at all, thanks so much for Moss & PolarisNova and everyone who supported the stream to get us there

11. We started scratching the surface of integrations / affiliate-integrations!

13. I created a Holiday outfit for Christmas / New Years (using a free template as the base)
14. I started the Camp Bulletin Board!

• I made the decision this year to explicitly NOT setup a community Discord and instead focus on an old-school Bulletin Board / Forum system

The Look-Ahead for 2024

In 2024, my major goal is to provide more interactivity for viewers & also increase my regularly scheduled streams each week.

• Increase the stream schedule to provide more content throughout the week (stream about 3x / week on average)

• Regularly scheduled collabs with Moss (working through the whole dothack series!)

• Redeems Revamp, focus on Interactive Redeems

• Subscriber badge revamp

• Misc. model redesigns / tweaks / improvements (esp. for holiday/special events)

• Full Body Tracking for Beat Saber

There are some major categories I want to focus on for 2024

• Continuing Beat Saber streams, increasing interactivity, add feet tracking

• Continuing RPG streams of EverQuest-based content

• Continuing chill music streams for background ambience

• Starting RPG streams of WoW

• Strategy / Tabletop Streams (Age of Wonders, other tabletop-style games)

• VRChat Streams

• More learnings around 3D Modeling for modding VRChat Avatars

• Coding / Server Project streams

• VR Game streams

• Real, live, home-cooking streams with my custom model & multi-camera setup

• A special Affiliate Anniversary Stream (Oct 11)
